Blue Dragon Books is a small used bookstore in Derby, Kansas which is right outside of Wichita. We are a family run store. Anne Randolph a former librarian owns Blue Dragon and Joe, a recently retired school counselor, is the chief box carrier and flunky. He is readily available to get those books on the top shelf or advise you on the latest books. Anne runs the front desk and handles the internet side of the business.
You can find either one or both at the store during regular hours, and sometimes during off hours. If we are there, simply knock and we'll likely let you in to browse (as long as you don't care about the noise if we are sweeping!).
Patrick, our son and soon to be 18, helps out with the shelving. He knows quite a bit about the place and is always willing to help find materials or answer questions.
All of us have our special interests.
Anne likes mystery, scifi, fantasy, paranormal and adventure.
Joe is our non-fiction expert - specialties are science, history, and self help.
Patrick is the horror, manga, and western person to go to.
Directions to Blue Dragon Books:
We are three blocks East of K15 in Derby. Located on the South side of Madison, in a small mall called Madison Place. There is the donut store on one end and we are on the other. (Thank goodness the donuts not next door!)
